• Start with the Picalo Workbook.  It is a great hands-on introduction to Picalo.  You’ll also need the sample datasets to work with.
• Then scan the Picalo Cookbook.  It contains the most up-to-date information, and it explains how to do most tasks.  It’s a great resource for all users.
• The Introductory Manual is good for beginners, but it is a little out of date now.
• You can get direct help by signing up for our email list.  Many users, as well as the developer, watch this list and reply to questions.

Scripters / Detectlet Writers:

• The Advanced Manual provides documentation on writing scripts and detectlets.
• You can directly browse the program API to view parameters and return values for functions. This is useful to both scripters and program developers.
